When the Right Answer Isn't Obvious, Build Your Way to It.

What Is LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®?

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) is a facilitated method that uses LEGO® bricks as a thinking tool.

Participants build small models in response to a question, then explain what their model means — turning abstract ideas like strategy, trust, or identity into something concrete enough to actually discuss. It isn't a toy exercise or icebreaker: it's a structured methodology used by organizations from startups to global corporations.

Why It Works

Building surfaces what conversation alone often misses.

A large share of the brain is devoted to the hands — physically building a model activates thinking that stays mostly dormant in a normal meeting.

Everyone builds, so everyone is heard.

In a typical meeting, a handful of people do most of the talking. In an LSP session, every participant builds and explains their own model — participation runs close to 100% of the room, 100% of the time.

LSP has been used by organizations ranging from startups to global names

including NASA, Daimler, and Roche.
