Dr. Hunter I. Watson
I began my career as an educator, training corporate clients and teaching university students while pursuing post-graduate research degrees rooted in Southeast Asian languages and cultures.
Upon completion of my PhD, I worked as a lecturer and researcher at a Southeast Asian research institute at Mahidol University in Bangkok. After years of working primarily as a university lecturer, I began providing services in consulting, executive coaching and corporate training, seeking to have a greater impact on society and the economy.
That combination still shapes how I work today, with doctoral-level research training applied to real organizational problems, not abstracted away from them.

Fluency Beyond Language
Everything I do shares one thread. It is real working fluency in how people communicate, lead, and think across difference, and it takes four forms: Cross-Cultural Onboarding, Communication Skills Training, LSP Workshops, and Executive Coaching, offered individually or in combination.
Each draws on a different part of my background. Cross-Cultural Onboarding draws on over twenty years of living and working in Thailand, and Communication Skills Training on formal training in linguistics, two decades of teaching languages and linguistics, and work as a writer and editor. LSP draws on doctoral research training, and Executive Coaching on philosophy and structured inquiry.
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is one method among several, distinguished by its hands-on, tactile format. Beneath all four lines runs a research habit of finding the right sources, compiling them carefully, and assessing them critically, then applying what they show to real organizational problems.
